Neem oil is not like chemical pesticide. It will work slow and can get pest control in organically.

Neem works in the pests in the following mode:

1.The formation of chitin or the hard part covering the sect(exoskeleton) is also inhibited.

2.Mating as well as sexual communication is disrupted.

3.Larvae and adults of insects are repelled.

4.Adults are sterilized.

5.Larvae and adults are poisoned.

White oil is best for blackspot %26amp; other such diseases. I spray aphids with a little fly spray. I use the one made from those S.African flowers, can't think of it's name(starts with P)
Neem oil has been found very effective against certain types of insects. These are Aphids (plant lice).caterpillars (larva) of leaf eating type and jassids (plant hoppers) but not very effective against scales and mites.

To use neem oil, take fresh oil about 50 ml,mix in 500 ml water and spray thoroughly on whole plant, top and underside of leaves and branches (bracts) of rose plant. The oil should be fresh as far as possible.

Neem oil is very safe and eco-friendly for people without any toxic residue. Go ahread and use it. Good luck.
